Louisville, Kentucky (The Seelbach Hilton)

Home to the legendary home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville boasts a range of exciting attractions the whole family can enjoy.  Stroll through Central Park, in the historic district, to people-watch and get a real favor of the city.  Baseball fans will love the Louisville Slugger Museum, a celebration of the sport's legends.  Louisville is a booming center for independent art, music and business.  Visit "Museum Row" for the largest collection of Royal Armories housed outside the United Kingdom.  Home to the Frazier History Museum, the Kentucky Science Center, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, and the Muhammad Ali Center, there's lots to enjoy in Louisville.

The Seelbach Hilton Louisville is the quintessential grand hotel experience.  A luxury hotel with modern amenities, wrapped in a storied past that delivers a distinct character.  Equal parts historical landmark and architectural masterpiece, it began as a dream for Otto and Louis Seelbach in 1869.  Sparing no expense, they imported marbles from all over the world, bronzes from France, hardwoods from the West Indies and Europe, and valuable Turkish and Persian rugs.  An expansion in 1907 added the famous Bavarian-style Rathskeller, decorated with rare Rookwood Pottery.  These features remain today as part of a modern Seelbach experience.  More recently, it hosts celebrities of all kinds. Parts of the classic movie "The Hustler" staring Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason was shot on site.  A destination for wedding photos, the grand lobby is breathtaking.  On site dining includes Kentucky's only AAA Five Diamond Restaurant, The Oakroom.  Also, just around the corner is Gatsby's on Fourth which is open for breakfast and lunch daily.
